ON THE SPIRIT AS LOVE
Abstract
This contribution explores the relationship between the Spirit and love within the context of trinitarian theology. The theological fecundity of the idea of the spirit as the bond of love between Father and Son is examined in seven theses. The article concludes with some reflections on the implications of these considerations for the “filioque” controversy.Authors retain copyright and grant the Journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in this Journal.
