RESPONSE TO W SEBOTHOMA
Abstract
Responding to Sebothoma’s paper is no easy task. In the first place, the paper ranges through a full spread of disciplines, from Old Testament studies to church history, philosophy to ideological discourse, with a fair sprinkling of Latin quotations. Along the way, he addresses a large number of issues, like Marxism, capitalism, ideology, ethics, justice and mercy. Truth be told, one could respond to any one of these issues-but that would not be fair to the paper as a whole. Holding the paper together is a central theme, which although it almost disappears at places, returns again and again.Authors retain copyright and grant the Journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in this Journal.
This is an open access journal, and the authors and journal should be properly acknowledged, when works are cited.
Authors may use the publishers version for teaching purposes, in books, theses, dissertations, conferences and conference papers.
