OPMERKINGE OOR GELOOF EN GELOOFUITSPRAKE
Abstract
Enige poging om die geloofsgebeure as belewenis, as egter betekenisvolle ervaring beter te prober begryp, stuit vroeër of later voor die skynbaar eenvoudige vraag: wat is geloof? Op hierdie vraag sou vanuit verskillende perspektiewe uiteenlopende antwoorde gegee kon word. As voorlopige eerste antwoord sou miskien gestel kon word: geloof, in algemene sin, is ‘n daad van spontane oorgawe, die belewenis van ‘n onvoorwaardelike vertroue. Hierdie oorgawe en vertroue kan selfs lei tot ‘n daad van selfprysgawe. In hierdie sin vind geloof as spontane gebeure opvallende parallelle in ander vorms van ekstatiese ervaringe.Downloads
