NEW CREATION AND RESURRECTION IN THE BIBLE AND IN A NEW SOUTH AFRICA: AN OLD TESTAMENT SCHOLAR’S PERSPECTIVE
Abstract
‘New creation; and ‘resurrection’ are discussed from the perspective of an Old Testament scholar, and interpreted in terms of the function of culture, world view and religion for a new South Africa. The obstacles, opportunities and other important issues pertaining to a relevant hermeneutical approach as well as some possible religious educational models for our context are discussed critically.Downloads
