Abstract
We celebrate the ‘coming age’ of Scriptura with an issue in which the two main contributions illustrate some of the latest trends in the interpretation of Biblical material. The article of Wittenberg on the contexts of statements concerning poverty and wealth in Proverbs, illustrate the rising interest in the ‘sociological’ dimension of these texts. The review of Roberts of four methodological approaches to the text of Philemon illustrates the remarkable interest this short letter is still generating among New Testament scholars.Authors retain copyright and grant the Journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in this Journal.
This is an open access journal, and the authors and journal should be properly acknowledged, when works are cited.
