THE AFRIKAANS TRANSLATION OF THE BIBLE FOR THE DEAF
Résumé
The mother tongue of the cultural deaf, that is people who were born deaf, is sign language. Being born deaf involves a severe linguistic handicap. So far, only an English translation for the deaf has been published in the USA in 1992.
