Résumé
Criticism of the methodolomania characterising South African New Testament scholarship is expressed by attending to the wider yet neglected setting of preoccupation with methodology: the need for a ethics of interpretation which adresses responsibility and accountability; the (overwhelming) irrelevance of bibical scholrship to the South African community on both ecclesial and socio-political concerns; and, issues regarding (institutional and socio-political) power and control related to methodologies in biblical interpretation.Téléchargements
