Abstract

South African history has largely been shaped on the premise of white supremacy.  Political and religious pluralism began to be conceptualized and articulated within the context of the political struggle for liberation and human dignity.  The new dispensation has created a space within which all experiences of life can be articulated and practiced within given parameters.
